Between Good and Bad...

This is war!!! You’re right in the middle of it. And choosing sides is going to be an everyday battle.

Have you ever felt like you are in war within yourself? A tug of war between good and evil; A never ending struggle between doing what is right and facing the temptation of human pleasure; A quest for excellence and yet faces failure every step of the way.

Are we good by nature or evil by nature? There is a Chinese saying that says we humans are good by nature. But if that is true, why do we struggle to do the right thing all the time? Worst! We don’t think what we are doing is wrong? No shame, no guilt, no wrong!

Like a child who has leprosy, they can just bite off their figures and use it as a pencil to draw on the walls without feeling any pain and they think its ok.. When they grow older, they will realize that it was a huge mistake, a price they pay for not listening to those who tries to stop them from doing what they were doing. When they grow older, then only they start to regret for all the bad they have done.. to themselves and others (imagine the horror on parents faces to see what their children have done on the walls)..

Yes, no one wish to be born with leprosy; neither do we want to be born, by nature, evil.. But we are and if we do not choose the right side for this never ending war in this world right now. We are going to loose ourselves, our love ones, and most of all our eternal life with the one who loves us most.

V-day....

Ah.. Valentine's day.. have you ever had a more wonderful day to express your love to someone other then today?

yes.. duh...

Love is , never limited to a day, a moment or a person. Its every where, any where at ay time. We just need to know it.. God is love. God knows everything about love becuase He is love. So if you are trying to find the real and true meaning of love why not ask the creator Himself on the subject?

Many have the wrong idea of love, as it is so commercialized and so wrongly potrait by the media, our peers and even sometimes our elders. True love comes from God and only He could truly show a good example of what love is like..

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.... - John 15: 13 "

Jesus has shown us the greater love of all.. As one who would die for his friends.. but are we His friends?

"You are my friends if you do what I command. - John 15:14~"

So what is His command?

"My command is this: Love one another as I have loved you. - John 15:12"

So Every chance that we get, show our care and love for each other.. never give up on anyone, coz Jesus never gave up on us... May God's love shine upon you....

Gifts :)

There are 3 types of people who gives gifts. One gives based on what they cherish most; the second, what the receiver needs and the third, what they can afford :)

Which one are you?

Some of us are very consistent, means that our gifts would always be either one of the above.. While some of us differ depending on the person we are giving the gifts to.

For me, it really depends on the person I am giving the gift to.. if i know my fren well enough and i can afford my fren's wishes. Then I would get something my fren needed.. if not.. i can only give what I can afford, and useful.

(Sorry Nic, can't get you a bigger flat screen TV you wanted :P and neither can i afford to get you a new sport car.. ahaha.. )
