A senze of peace in the mist of.....

Weddings are always hectic and chaotic on the day. Guest wouldn't know what is happening and to have a good coordinator is very important.. I remember on my wedding day, my Coordinator- Kat has been a great help.. of course your hubby must also chip in lar ahahah... Nigel knows that i have a bad temper and cannot work well when I am stressed out. So he derived a wonderful plan for us..

2 weeks before our wedding, I would have finished all my planning and pass all my decision making to Nigel & Kat.. so smart ya Nigel? he of course have not finish his part of the planning. (guest list, seating arrangements, vows etc) But because I cannot be filled with stress and anxiety :) Nigel decides everything in the two weeks and on the wedding day itself.

Of course some of us ladies may worry on how well our future hubby will work things out, would it be what I wanted and will it be just right? etc.. So, for my kind of arrangements to work we have to trust 3 person: Hubby (Nigel), Coordinator (Kat) and God.. Mostly... God :P

I have learn a lot from our wedding experience. One, i need to let go of certain details and just enjoy the event. Two, learn to trust the 3 person. Three, to remind myself that the most important thing in this whole event is to have start off with a good relationship with your spouse (which on that day, he/she is No More ur gf or bf), other things are just the add ons..

:) The photo above reminds me a glimpse of peace before all the agenda starts to unfold on the day Jeff and Su En's lifetime union..

Baby in Motion

Now that baby have grown,
I wonder what is going on,
I can feel the baby’s movement,
And it’s a ‘funny feeling’ moment.

Others wouldn’t know baby is moving,
But for me I can feel it turning;
Not sure up or down or side to side,
But definitely moving. Yup! Baby is moving alright.

Don’t know baby’s gender yet,
Don’t know what to name baby yet;
But one thing I know for sure and true,
That God will protect baby all the way through.

Here is the ultrasound when baby was in 3 months,
Can you see baby’s head and body in a glance?
Baby was moving quite a bit during the time,
It was a very funny sight, yea baby was fine.

Here is the ultrasound on baby last week,
You can now see the hands and the feet,
Baby is bigger in size and God knows,
Normal & healthy we pray baby will grow.

Thank you all for your warm wishes and wonderful prayer!

On my 30th birthday!!!

When I was in my teens, my birthday always fall during exam time and sometimes holiday… so I never get to celebrate them with my friends or family. Like this year.. it’s the last day of exam for some.. so its good but too bad I’m already 30.. akakakaka…. I’m not afraid to get older or even share my age to anyone coz I don’t feel insecure with any age I am in. I am glad for every birthdays and age that I grow into gracefully.. ha… Yes.. I look older then before and not so much energy as before.. yet, God have been good to me & my love ones and that is what matters most.. other things like age doesn’t concern me at all… I love to grow old when it’s my time to! Don’t you? I don’t want to remain looking like a teen when I am already 40 years old… It’s not natural and it’s not healthy…

It's ok Nic, I understand you are not obsessed with your age.. you just feels 19 : P its good tt you love to be young and you look very young too.. ahahah… so it ok lar.. To those younger ones, don’t worry when you turned 25 or 30 next time.. its alright. Its good, see how far you have come and how much you have grown!!!

The best thing would be to look back and see yourself 7-10 years ago and having God by your side all the way until now.. so much have changed since my 21st birthday! I graduated, I got a job, met new friends, build a ministry, meet my husband, got married and now… having a baby!!! How wonderful is this feeling I have now… it brings tears to my eyes and joy to my soul..

It wasn’t always smooth sailing nor wonderful, I can honestly tell you tt but it has been a great journey! With God, family and friends by our side, the suffering world would seem easier to go through, where you can find true comfort, encouragements, love and care.

So be glad when you grow older!!! No matter you are 17 going to 18 or like me 29 going to 30! Or even when you are 45 going to 46! It’s a blessed Joy and Wonderful Feeling to celebrate your Age NO MATTER what the number is!!!!! Rejoice to the Lord! No matter what…

Baby up dates

Yesterday Nigel and I went for our monthly baby check up. Saw baby’s face oh! How Baby look like? Like a baby lar.. duhh… all baby look almost the same one mar.. ahahha.. round round cubby cubby lor… can see the fingers and feet d.. and its like much bigger then before… (of course bigger lar… if not why my tummy looks bigger, right? Tak kan lar I am getting Spare tire now coz of fat?)

I am actually glad that baby is growing normally coz I have been eating less mah compared to my normal daily diet b4 pregnant… but it seems that even though I dun eat much, baby will still take up my nutrients.. J good lar.. the I will just eat what ever I can eat, coz if I eat too much, I may puke (over eating gua) but keep hearing ppl say if u dun eat enough bb dun get enough nutrients and may not grow normally.. Praise God Baby is well develop at this stage J

16 weeks already, will upload the ultrasound later :) Suppose can check out Baby’s gender liao but Baby was not cooperative so can’t see anything lar…may be we’ll be more sure on the 24th week where we’ll do a proper check up on the Baby with 4D effects. Ahahaha so canggih!

I think Prof. Paul was checking Baby’s digits, measuring the Baby’s size and Baby’s bone structure. (Coz I keep seeing the rib bones) Can see Baby’s heart beat too J very healthy according to Doctor.. This time Prof. Paul was trying to get the right angles to see the gender so didn’t really press or kacau the Baby to move so Baby looks very peaceful.

Dexter as Dexter ;Jenny as Jenny

Director: Rebecca ; Photgrapher: Susana

** Many cut scenes... during the production of this photo... too weird to show in this blog and in public...

Weird ways to feed your fren Ice cream...

** other Scenes from this photo making was cut due to... due to... the spurr of craziness that was too.. too.. too crazy to be shown here lar.. anyway, its for personal keeping only.. not for the public and the faint hearted...

Another weird way... invented by Dexter... Rebecca almost got a brain freeze from this piece of ice cream.... such a HUGE chunk!!!

Yea!!!! Here's the Bird-day girl!!!!!!
(btw, Rebecca's birthday is on 26th May..because of unforseen circumstances that some of us are not around coz family camp, some = me, so we celebrate ealier la.)

it's Rebecca's turn to feed the rest... again.. Dexter is very innovative... it's actually very dark and the light from the lighter does make a difference in making it more Romantic..

Group Pose...

~The End~
** After sending them to the Sentul Lrt.. the group went to Old Town cafe in Cheras for short fellowship... and their hero, Dexter, send all of them back! What a guy :)

Things are happening around our family, friends and fellow Christians...

Have been glad to enter the year of 2008. Yet many terrible, horrible and unpleasing news would arise around us. It discourages me a lot at times..

Many young people in our youth are persecuted and confused by the enemy. Many of my fellow frens in ministries feel lost and discouraged. Many leaders finds it dry to serve. Many unpleasant events had happened - my frens and colleagues... and here I am having the time of my life?

I truly feel very bless right now, having all that I ever needed and wanted in relation to my family, friends and career.. even my girls in CPY is more mature and they can reply on God & put their trust in Him no matter what now.. Yet, i feel for those who suffer around me coz I love them very much and the only thing I can do is to pray for them as much as I can; to make them feel loved as much as I am able to. Other then that, it's all in God's control & loving hands...

My heart aches whenever people around me suffers, in pain or even lost. And even though many may say tt it's not good for my baby but i think my baby is learning to be compassionate and learning that people need the Lord, in the good times and in the bad times.. I feel their pain too at times and then.. it hit me..

We are God's Children and how would you think God is feeling right now? If I, but a mere friend would feel the heart ache, God who is our Heavenly Father would have felt Million times of the pain I am feeling. He has more love and compassion than I do and He loved us so much that He is willing to do ANYTHING for us. but then why all these things still happens?

Honestly, I wouldn't know the whole answer coz only God have the whole picture. But what I can see is that people who raised up to the painful events with God by their side would be over comers and are stronger then ever! Some of us found the reason for the event and understood the lesson from it, but some of us don't but still continue to have the Faith in God's way. "Trust in the Lord in all your way and lean not on your own understanding. Seek His will in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6

Let's pray for each other no matter what season we are in. Be compassionate and understanding as God want us to love each other in every period of our lives so that this may glorify His name.

What way is THE right way??

Do you need direction? yes? Good, becuase God wants to give it to you. The direction of God is not hard to come by. here are 4 ways He will give it to you.

1) The Word (Bible): the most practical way that God gives direction. all other ways must line up with this way.

2) Peace: how God will lead you. His peace will be deep down inside letting you know you're headed in the right direction.

3) People: Pastors, teachers, parents, and friends. God will speak through people whom He has strategically placed in your life.

4) Desires: What you want to do. Do you like making art, building, or helping others? God has placed desires in your heart to help you give you direction.

God's Creation - from my window

If we only stop for a while and take a look around us.... take time to just observe a bit longer... take time to meditate and breath... we can see so many reasons to praise God for...
Don't you agree?

Comfort in Uncertain Times

The future will always be uncertain. While we may enjoy the illusion of safety, even in those moments we're only a heartbeat from eternity. That's why we must place our trust in God, knowing "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Heb 13:8)
God hasn't lost control of our circumstances. He is our shield and defender-- even when chaos rages around us. Isaiah 41:10 says, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my rightous right hand."
Now. more than ever, we should pray for and encourage each other daily. The writer of Hebrews reminds us, "Let us not give up meeting together" (10:25). We need to be nutured spiritually through our churches and other fellowship groups.
We can find comfort in Scripture's promises that our heavenly Father cares about every detail of our life. In Matthew 10:29-31 TNIV, Jesus said, "Are not two sparrow sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care. And even the very hairs od your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." We can truly be confident about the future when we have this wonderful assurance.

What a friend we have in Jesus-an old Hymm

What a friends we have in Jesus,
All our sins and grief to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful?
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he’ll take and shield thee;
Thou wilt find a solace there.

fatherhood and sonships (no gender preference)...

What a great seminar yesterday!!! I learned so much about fatherhood and sonships (no gender preference)...

I know that I am still lacking in some qualities as I am still growing, learning and most of all trying to apply all that I know, both in being a "Father" and a "Son". I had wished my young leaders could have made it as they would then able to may be evaluate me as a spiritual parent over them and that they would know what is it like to be the chosen ones...

I have also evaluate myself as a "Son" to Pastor and Jaecie. I find myself never really showed care for the both of them as much as I want to and when ever I do try I feel that they don't need it.. You know lar.. sometimes when you do or give something to your parents they may say 'you don't need to give, they got it and they are very self sufficient.' Then I would not know what to do next. Only upon special request such as Christmas presentations and looking after CPY's members etc..

They have shown much care, support and prayer for me and my household. For I hope to be a good Armour Bearer for the leader of our church. I am not too sure how many qualities I have as a "son" but I will surely try to do my very best as God has called me to. I was glad to be in the seminar and many of my fellow comrades were too :) It has been a great blessing.. Hope many would have attended as it would have not just blessed our leaders but ourselves...

(For My girls, don't feel guilty.. i will Xerox the notes for you... hahaha... then we can go through it briefly ok?)
