In deep thoughts...

Been thinking a lot lately... about the changes i need to make, planning what need to be done, thinking about my family back in Sabah etc.. Most of all I've been thinking about my mom and my baby a lot..
~~~~~~~
It's like i am facing both life and death... My mom was diagnosed with cancer in the middle of the year and she went through an operation but does not want to go through the chemotherapy. She rather take Chinese natural herbs and pray by faith.. but someone told me to prepare as she may leave at any time.. I WAS SO SAD TO HAVE HEARD THAT... I mean i don't want to force her to go for any treatment if she doesn't want to or that it does not makes her happy.. I rather she had the best time of her life when she can. Even if she live longer but not happy, what's the point in living? To me as long as she is happy, i will be supportive and happy for her. And how do we prepare for something like this? Can anyone be really prepared? I don't think so.. it reminds me of the first time i lost someone i love.. When he past away, he took part of my heart with him, it has never been the same.. I still misses my grandfather a lot...
~~~~~~~
On the other hand, I have my Alexander.. Sweet young thing.. when ever he cries my heart aches and i just can't bare to leave him even for a while.. When he cries, his face will look like sour plum... Literally.. ahahah... and at times you can see tears.. very kesian.. i was at church the other day and as everyone was worshiping and singing the last song, I CRIED. I was deeply touched by the gift God has given me. I don't deserve such a wonderful gift but i am grateful and full of joy, no words could express my love except through my tears... I love to sleep with my baby in my arms.. i just don't want to let him go... he is so precious to me.. ( i know i know.. wait till he is older... he may just drive me up the wall.. )
~~~~~~~
The things that made me cry the most these days is just the thought of this 2 person in my life... I cannot imagine a life without them... (of course Nigel also, but for now he can take care of himself :D so i am very glad.) The tears of pain and joy... both from God and both softens my soul..
More awake...
Alexander is more a wake now a days... especially in the morning :) like his mom ahahaha...
He does not make a lot of unnecessary noise as he plays with himself :D He will just look around and keep moving his hand, as if he could grab it :P
He can turn his head slowly to the left and to the right and look at you when you talk to him.. and as i talked to him, he would react as if he understood.. (may be it's just my imagination lar.. ahahaha) Well, you'll have to meet him to know for sure ler..
i love this photo.. close up of Alexander... He looks so puffed up :D 'Gemuk' d lar in other words...
tt's all for now.. see ya all soon...
Alexander's photos... :D
Takes a long time to up load photos here so i can only upload some :D Hope it is sufficient for now.. will be able to go out next week!!! Yea!!! Bebas!!! Freedom!!! but not everyday lar... but will hopefully be able to go church on Sunday? at least...
We miss church, cg and Youth meetings.. After getting use to the routine of having Alexander around, we need to get use to bringing him out now... Which is a challenge for us i suppose.. It would be like 'moving" your house as we need to bring a lot of his stuffs out.. I hope we will be able to manage it.. i know many have done it but we are so active in ministry, i think need to set priorities from now on..
I hope that I would be able to be a good mom and wife and of course 'anak' too..
I notice the other day... the 3 most important person (besides God) in the world is at my house now.. before this was Only Nigel and My mom.. now... I have Alexander :)
What will happen when East Meets West...?? Contradictions...
As many may already know even though i am a native (bumiputra) i live my life pretty much on the East side of the baring.. Means more Chinese lar.. as for Nigel... yup!! you guessed it.. the West.. What we call "Ang Mor"...
So when our parents drop by to stay with our baby Alexander.. i get a lot of East and West Ideas on how to care of Baby Alexander... which gives me a little head ache.. Coz Nigel is not goin to listen to my mom on the having the fan directly blowing Alexander may not be as good as just leaving the baby sweating like a pig (tt is how Nigel would describe sweating when ever he sweats.. :P) as babies prefer to hot conditions than cold ones..
All I can do is pray.. pray that Alexander will be healthy and strong for anything and will not catch anything that will hurt him.. I also pray that we as parents will be able to do the right thing for him..
Oh, btw.. today i washed my hair!!! Geng geng geng!!!! My mom said at least 14days must past since my delivery date then only i can wash my hair.. so since i past already.. can d lar.. have to blow dry lor...
I do wonder, all these confinement thing is it just "pantang" that ppl in the olden days created or is it really a health issue? I think it's a health issue.. and yes i can go out and do everything as i have the energy now, but i am sure when i grow older, if i do not take care of myself now, especially after giving birth, I will suffer a lot of pain and health problems later.. but i know no matter what, I still rely on God for my health.. i just do my part and my best to keep myself fit for the long run.. that's all..
What do you think? Is Confinements Do's and Don'ts necessary? or not?
