Today

The world is vast n wide, so much to experience, so much to see; but There's always something bigger then the world we live in.. And the only way to get to see that is by faith..

A beautiful Monday..

Today was a busy day. Fruitful at work and hopefully will get to do some ministry work after grocery shopping. Aiyo.. No time to do lesson with Alex again today :( will do some exercise at the mall lar..

I believe God is good and He is not distance or cruel. When we need a hug He is ready with one. When we need help n encouragement, He is there to give us one. And if we do wrong he is there ready with a cane :D in a good sort of way..

You see whenever we get a scolding we get angry or up set but we should feel other wise n you know why? Some of you smart ppl out there will know that it is because that when someone scold u or discipline you or correct you that person actually took the trouble to do so and that the person actually care.. Of course there are some goodie two shoes or those think-they-know-it-all kinda ppl who do that for fun.. Try to ignore those ppl but not their advise. Coz the advise may be right or even wise even though he/ she has no credibility. Just think about it before we reject corrections. Let's be humble..

The next time someone correct you say thank you.. :)

Yummy lunch

I realize that I really love n enjoy eating good food.. Almost like addicted to indulging in good food. Not to the extend of being gluttony though.. Just love to eat. I thank God that I can do so coz I know many cannot indulge because of their health issues.. Even at my age or younger, they dun.. Perhaps they r health conscious or want to maintain their weight/body shape, thus hv more self control when it come to consumption of food :D

One of fav food.. Pineapple fried rice!!!

When ever I get to go to sec 17 one of the coffee shops, I wld normally order this :p super nice!!! I know one of my youth likes to eat pineapple fried rice too.. She would tease me every time I order this in a new restaurant coz she knows I love'd to try it.. We both like to try mushroom soup also! Hmmm yummy... The best one yet I hv tried is at damansara perdana.. May be I should go n eat there again one day soon...

On Merdeka day

It was all very quiet or too quiet in KL.. Lesser Malaysian flags was raised and perhaps less post on FB on celebrating our country's 55 years of independence.. Retirement age wei.. I am sure many still love our country, but just very disappointed with our current government.. Will there be true independent?
What is the balance between having too much freedom that countries allow bad moral values to penetrate as a norm for the country verses a country restrict freedom to the point that it's ppl suffer from injustice, unfair treatment and manipulated media reports etc? It's pretty hard to stay balance n righteous in politics and governance but it's not impossible.
Integrity.. This is a value lost in time n character of ppl world wide.. We don't even understand the meaning of the word coz its so rare to find it in a person. It's so hard to live out a life of integrity now a days.. Even normal ppl find it challenging, can u imagine those that are in the highest moral responsible position? Temptation to take a short cut is and will always be there.
Reading a book that begins with talking about this word, integrity. It's mind bogging! And it's great to read and learn from the examples of ppl that lives out in integrity..
Ah Malaysia, my beloved country.. No doubt in my mind n heart that I love you.. I knew it the min I came back from my trip to Europe for 3 weeks few years back.. The moment we touch down n heard those words, I cried a little. How I miss you Malaysia. Those magic words were,"..for those who are Malaysians, welcome home."

It's a cruel world :(

I feel like crying.. my emotion is like a roller coaster ei? haih.. how should i feel when i hear that the food stall ourside my condo was tear down by DBKL and left the Malay Lady that sells nasi lemak for a living have no where to make ends meet? 

I remember once when I pass by her stall one early morning to go somewhere and saw her daughter playing on a mattress.. UNDER THE HOT SUN. I admire her courage and her hard work.. and that her daughter is so pure at heart tt she didn't mind paying on a dirty mattress, with all the dirty toys and under the sun.. (haiyer.. brings tears to my eyes when I think about it now..) But you know what? The little girl was really enjoying herself and she was smiling just because she is playing, having fun and with her mom at the stall.. Now the stall is no more.. I wonder where will they go now? really heart breaking.. 

I wished I could help them some how.. just so sad to see these happening even in a city.. Many says that the bigger the city, the more poor ppl around.. What are the rich doing lar? they cannot find any poor ppl to give their money too coz they live in a very luxurious place? perhaps that's it.. They don't see these things happening thus out of sight is like out of mind.. sometimes i feel ashamed of having so much while others struggles just to fill their tummy.. I should learn to not waste, save more and use less.. so if I get some extra, I can give it back to help others.. 

I have a friend who needs financial help all the time, and I really do feel for her as she have no one to hold on too.. she is unwell and have a child to support.. every time I think of her I really pray that she will live a long life and be able to enjoy it to the fullest.. May she learn to also save and live within our means.. Most importantly that she found the almighty God with her all the way.. 

I remembered seeing an old couple in their what, sixties or seventies, working in the evening preparing 'pau' to sell for the night market on the side of the road.. I do think sometimes these unpopular business or not so glamorous business actually earns more than an average office worker.. but at their age, don't they have any kids? or family? that would help out on their expenses so that they need not toil every night for a living?? or they do this as a hobby? Do some ppl enjoy doing all those hard work, sweat and go home late than to spend time with their grandchildren or family? May be they do not have children? nor family? I dunno what to think? or how to think? how should I feel?

I think it is a crime to allow our parents who are old and frail to toil like tt.. being a boss and sitting in the office to do work is not so bad as carrying, cleaning, cooking etc on the road side lor.. but sometimes, we outsiders don't know wht is going on in actual fact so I know I should not judge, which I am not. I am just curious and it is heart breaking to see this.. As for the Malay lady's nasi lemak stalls, I really pray for you to have more than you ever need, even though your stall was thorn down. My God will protect and bless you and your family with abundance and grace.. and may be one day, you or your next generation will come to know Him personally.. 

It is a cruel world, but there's so much more good in it than we think it offers.. Just because we cannot see it now doesn't mean that we should give up on it entirely.. Our world can be great when we gave it to the one whom created it.
