“So did God force him to build the Ark?” Rebecca ask.. (what do you think?) Hhhmmm..
If you have watched the movie, it seems like Evan was indirectly forced.. (lets not talk about Noah as he was not in the movie :P) So yes, he was forced. Is it good or bad? I thougth God dun force one??
Let’s read Amos 4:6-11
God caused so many famine to happen in hope that His people will turn back to Him but the Israelites was a bunch of stubborn donkeys and because they did not turn back to God, they suffered more..
Yes, Evan was indirectly forced by the circumstances that fall upon him but in the end he submits to God!! Even when everyone, including his family, thinks his nuts!!! So compared to people who did not turn back to God, Evan made the right choice in obeying God and what happen after that? Made a difference in the community and most importantly, showed what God can really do when people walk by faith.
Should God even bother to scold us, force us if he doesn’t care enough for us to trouble Himself like that? To be heart broken every time some of us reject him? Put him aside?
We are chosen, Evan was chosen, so when God caused circumstances to happen in hope we’ll turn back to Him, or even for the good of His people, we should be glad He force it..
You gotta believe it to receive it! :) Someone loves you! Really really loves you!Would you love back?
