“I can hear the roar from Zion”

Good news or bad news? When we hear the roar from Zion is it good news or bad news??

Good News: - Joel 3:16
“The Lord will roar from Zion & thunder from Jerusalem; the earth & the sky will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for His people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.”

Bad news: - Amos 1:2
“The Lord roars from Zion & thunders from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds dry up and the top of Carmel withers.”

The book of Joel and Amos talks about God’s anger towads Judah & Jerusalem. Talks about what He will do to get them back. So they would know who the mighty one is.

When we really hear the roar from Zion, what do we expect to happen to us? Would we get a welcome? A kiss and a hug? A smile and a pat? Or be scolded? Wrath? Punishment? Lord, have mercy on us…

As it is fasting period, let us also fast.. for our country, for nations, for family & friends, for churches all over the world, for our church and most of all.. for God’s Kingdom to reign!!!
