When I Say "I Am A Christian"...

When I Say "I Am A Christian"...

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I get lost!"
"That is why I chose this way."

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
my flaws are too visible
but God believes I'm worth it.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have only His Grace.
Showing me I am loved.

Alexander's First Christmas

Actually, it’s our first Christmas with Alexander as it is more meaningful to us now then to him.. it will be meaningful when he is older and look back but for now… Nigel and I are the ones enjoying the first Christmas with Alexander….

We went to Ikea the other day and took some nice pic with Alexander.. I took the most lar but not a lot..

I love this photo... feels so homey and comfy...

Love the Christmas tree also..

Then we went to church on 21st and had a good time also..

I think this year’s Christmas is the most relaxing one ever for me as for the past few years the youth have been expecting to present on Christmas day and normally I would be so stressed trying to make sure everyone had done their part and got prepared.. I do think Pastor and Jaecie helped and they did not insist on any presentation from the youth this year. Nic also helped push the presentation till next year.. So more work next year CPY!!! After a long relaxing year end.. be ready for an active 2009!!!

It’s good a take a rest for a while, after 3 months of rest from all ministry, I feel rested and ready for action.. In 2009, I may not be able to be there 110% (physically) but I will give it my very best to. In 2009, I really think God wants all His young ppl to have fun and lots of em’. We can learn a lot of things from having fun too and of course we shall also have some serious stuff, serious and yet FUN! Really want to focus on getting more personal with each other and cultivate the togetherness among the young and cg.

I even though about organizing a Bazaar.. Second hand Bazaar, where everyone can bring their old stuffs to sell.. just to cultivate tt togetherness I was talking about just now.. Fund raising?? It can be also.. will discuss with leaders later and see if it can work or not :D

So many things to do yet so little time! But I am taking it easy as right now I need to priorities and focus on what matters most…

.. I know what matters most to me… the question is, do you?..

The trip to Europe 2005...

I really want to go travelling again.. but a bit susah lar now.. since I am a mother already, I’m not so free anymore and whatever that I earn it would be best to save it for my babies J Of course go for a short trip and local trips is alright but I was talking about Trip to Europe!! I went there once in 2005 and it was a blast!! I really really enjoyed it but I miss Malaysia more though.. (I really dunno why. It could be the Sun.)

Share with you some of the places I’ve been to Europe.. It’s really cool… especially the flowers and the buildings there.. so wonderful…

Roses...

All sorts of colours and sizes...

The red rose is really huge!! as big as the palm of my hand..

Purple roses... such a special colour...

Orange colour rose..

All the roses and flowers above was taken at the Rose Garden, London. The moment we walked into the Garden we can smell the roses. It's sweet smell is really relaxing and beautiful...

I;m not sure what type of flowers on the above pic but it's really colourful and nice...
The pic below are my fav flowers... Daisy!!! A Happy Flower...

A castle at Germany that we visited...

All the flowers above was from Germany... from all the 6 countries i visited, i love Germany the most... The field was amazing and breath taking..

Look at it... doesn't it looks peaceful and calm?

Even their wild flowers are pretty.. (i suppose when the foreigners comes to our country, our wild flowers seems pretty to them also. ahahaha..)

This is for the Tulip lovers... :D

Country side in Finland

Super fresh fruits... Hmm.. yummy..

The buildings in Finland... super awesome and grand...

Cute little cottage...

You who have been to US, Europe or even Australia (or NZ), we are really blessed..

.. but eventhough Europe is beautiful and the weather is nice..

The good old days.. Uni times... :D

As I was reading the young ppl’s blogs.. it reminded me how it was use to be while I was still studying in Uniten. With Kat, Logan, Julian, Lit Yen, Joanna, Zoe, Jeffrey and others… We had such wonderful time together!!! We often meet up with Sharon and Elaine at tt time as well.. it was so much fun!! We were all crazy ppl.. ahahaha… We had our ups and downs but we always manage to stick together even until now, after so many things had happened, after so many years past, we are still good friends..

I remembered once we stayed over night at Sharon’s place and played a forfeiting game where who ever looses have to.. ehemmm.. let’s just keep tt a secrete between us girls :P not only we need to do the “ehemm” but also share about the person we admire.. aheehee.. pretty funny come to think of it..

We girls use to hang around the guys place at times as we go for dinner together after tt and we always see them playing their computer games… the WHOLE HOUSE!!! The games was linked with each other somehow.. and they were crazy playing it for hours!!! As mentioned before Julian was the only one being most discipline… :D he played the least I think… The guys tt stayed at the same house share their ‘hearts’ to each other also you know? Like we girls lar… ahahaha… someone from the house share to me lar.. but what personal stuffs they were talking about I dunno lar.. personal mar..

All the crazy birthday ‘sabo’ we did was hilarious.. there was once we did for Jeffrey’s birthday and it was only water but it was so funny and fun I still remember the short event..

The long chats with Kat at her place before CG and with Zoe when I stayed over her place.. and there was one night where I spent over at Sharon’s place for something, which I dun remember what but got to know some of her darker secretes tt night.. aheehee…

TechFlow was the youth group in Uniten. It was a wonderful place to meet ppl who really cares.. The first time I had ever gone out until midnight was on the first day of Techflow meeting and and guess who asked me to go out with them?? It was Zoe.. I still remembered. She was very friendly and she is still awesome. The silly games we use to play during meeting really brings back wonderful memories.. the dinners and mamak time.. the outings and camps.. when I look at the photo albums I have, I remembered the wonderful time spent.. as if I am living it again with my old friends…

A time of my life..
