Case Study 2 :

You are leading 100 people in a survivalist situation, when suddenly your lives are in danger and you must choose between two courses of action.

-One would cause 10 of the people to die and everyone else would live.

-One would have a 70% chance of saving everyone but were it to fail then everyone would die.

Which would you choose?

I will pray.. different situation takes different solutions at that time.. God's wisdom is truly needed.. I will not gamble with life with either one unless it is God' instruction..

But off hand, I would choose the first.. to ask 9 more ppl to sacrifice their life in order for the rest to live.. because that is what Jesus did.. He died so every else can live.. A lot of times, that is what I see we needed to do, to sacrifice (in obedience) in order for others to live.. In society, in the work place, in the church, in our family...

If you see that the group of ppl is 100 christian then yes, all of us will not mind dying together. One heart, one spirit, united in the Lord.. but what if 100 ppl represent the world population? which means it's consist of diff kinds of ppl, race, faith, age etc... Do we expect everyone to understand why we decides to endanger everyone lives? Would we be willing to see those unsaved burn in hell when we could have given them sometime to believe in Jesus and be saved?

It is easy to decide when that 100 ppl are all faithful Christians.. but if not, I would rather risk my life for those I love and still not saved.. wouldn't you?

Would we die with Jesus?
