On a Mission....

CPY mission is very simple. First part: To point the Young Generation to where God is and to learn to love others-no matter who they are. Thus, the motto: Love the Lord, Love the People.

Verse:'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'- Luke 10:27

First, we must learn to love God and trust in Him fully and learn to love each other as ourselves. This is CPY top priorities. Coz nothing is more important than one soul loving God with all that he/she has to offer and loving others as themselves. A Christ like lifestyle.

Once this is in place, the rest will fall into place. And that is the second part of our Mission in CPY. To share the good news of eternal life, to live with each other as a family in Christ and to bring up diligent Christian that would run their race with God's purpose in mind...

Verse: "Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." -Matt 28:18-20

Realized.....

Read Nic’s blog on “love of a father” the other day. What a wonderful true story.. it really brings tears to my eyes after watching the whole video. That Father is something else, can’t imagine what it may have been for him all this time and how God have made him strong for his son.

How many fathers we know would do this? And do it all the time without feeling bored or tired? I can’t imagine and I can’t comprehend.. honestly.. I can’t.. being human and all.. I know God is Omnipotent but a human being? Able to do the things tt the father in the video have done take super human strength, determination and spirit! I mean, we always say tt we can’t do this? And yes it is true.. we can’t..

But..”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

We always say we can’t forgive someone coz its not easy and they don't deserve it; we can’t do this now for Christ coz we’re still young or we’re too old; We can’t do the right thing coz it's not practical and it's so hard to actually do it in the real world; We can’t, can’t, can’t!!!! but for this father… he can, can, can… and with that courage and commitment he showed the world that it is not him alone tt made this happen but because of Christ, because of our heavenly Father that made it possible for us to do the things he had done..

And if only we tapped into that source of power, follow and depend on God… All things are possible…

Hear us from Heaven...

Kind and encouraging words from CPY..

Last Saturday Nic got us doing an exercise where we are to write kind and encouraging word to the person the name is stated in a piece of paper... it was fun.. and very "chan chiong!" coz u all know me lar...i write a lot one and then have to think wht to write so it's personal mar..

I dunno they cut and paste or they really think that i am kind (perasan).. but i see a lot of em write tt ahahah... most of them the guys lar.. Some more got write "too kind lar.." ala.. got someone being too kind one meh??? akakaka...

I got home and start guessing who wrote wht.. coz i can differentiate their hand writing one akeekeeke... i know Rebecca wrote "I LOVE YOU!!" (i think..) then Jerrica wrote, "Hello, Thx 4 everything yah." and James, "kind-hearted" Joshua "Kind" and i think Ken wrote the "Too Kind lar" Jeremy wrote... "caring" i think? or may be terbalik d?? ok lar, some of the guys i can't really guess lar.. but most of the girls i should get it right aheehee...

I was thinking of doing this exercise properly and do it like a gift exchange during Christmas... hhmmm... where everyone (including the guys) must wrote an encouraging note to each person in CPY, church members (those tt you know), leaders (anyone u think of), family and give it to them on Christmas's day as 2008 Christmas gift??? of course we dun just write one sentence only lar.. write as many as possible about the good things this person is and what they have done to brighten up your day!... i think this is meaningful, economical and ideal Christmas gift :D

Music, little one?

Today is the first time i made bb listen to music using the earphone.. :)

Baby is so excited ahahaha... s/he keeps kicking and turning and tossing... very active... i tot may be the music is too loud but according to my fren Jasmine, they (babies) get active when they hear music.. so its normal lar.. ahahah...

I still put the volume to the min though... and i play our new H2 new worship songs.. :P I dun have any classical! any one can pinjam me??? may be the modern songs is too happening for the bb akakaka.. i also dunno... i only know tt babies like to listen to music.. hopefully the songs will bless my little one in my tummy :)

keep on kicking, keep on kicking, keep on kicking kicking kicking... and swimming & turning.. ahahah... i have an active and healthy bb!!!!! we hope to know bb's gender this Friday lar.. So we can start to choose names and call bb by name d :)

Up date on BB??? tergendala sebentar...

Suppose to know BB's gender by today but... haih... have to wait till next Friday lar...

Coz the nurses in HUKM did not book an appointment for me to go and take the scan on Friday and ALL the personal for the detail scan was not in on that day.. and i have also promised to meet up a few young ppl for lunch as it is their holiday right now as they were all in Cheras.

Alamak.. how can? ALL the ppl not there??? Why ah? So weird...

But i dun mind another week but i have no mood to go back to work yesterday so my doctor gave an MC.. I mean, i was so prepared to know bb's gender on that day but it was really dissapointing lar...

Nigel is more dissapointed.. and he feels it was such a waste of time there..

Well, in the end we went out with the girls (CPY) as promised.. it was tiring and did some bb shopping... again :)

Hope next Friday we'll get to tell you BB"s gender lar :D

Baby Experience...

Baby have been moving a lot and it has been a great experience :)

As for the names, i only got Nathanael for a boy and Gabrial for a girl... still need to wait for Nigel to decide though... As for the Chinese name, we may ask either our good fren Chris to give him/her a name or my step father as they know mandarin well... What an honour!!! But dunno yet lar...

When people ask me do i know the gender and i told them I dun know, they will ask me.. "Do you want to know? I mean do you want it to be a surprise when the baby deliver?"... I would like to know before hand but not in a hurry to know lar.. tt's why the long wait.. ahaha.. Opppsss... bb is moving!! geli ler... ahahaha...

S/he sometimes stomps very hard! painful at times and i wake up twice in a night just to go to the wash room... :( i use to sleep like dead log and no interruption during my sleep... not even my doggies can wake me up... but i guess BB is a part of me now so, anything s/he does i can feel it.. i mean not everything but when s/he moves.. :D

I think this would be the only time that Bb and mom is a part of one body physically... coz when BB pops... S/he will be separated from mummy and s/he and mummy is two separate entity liao.. i hope you know what i mean... So this time is very precious and meaningful.. to me and to BB (even though BB may not remember this later :)

Every kick, every move BB makes as a mummy, we would know but after BB have been delivered.. we'll keep thinking what BB is doing... even when S/he have grown....

BB's clothing tt we got :P

Honestly, after we have gone through all 3 Siam Complexes.. we are so tired and our legs was already in pain... but i still wanna go to MBK! coz didn;t get to buy anything from the 3 complexes :(

So we went to MBK which was just opposite Siam Discovery.. :)

Then the only thing that would make Nigel's eyes shine was to get bb clothes!!! so we did :)

We went searching for bb clothing after looking at some at the shop below...

After a few rounds of walking and asking for prices... we came back to the same shop ahahaha... funny :) I think Nigel liked the promoter... which is a lady boy... she/he is very nice lar.. :)

I was saying this one is very pious... "I love my daddy".. wht about mummy??? dun have wor... so we didn;t get this one akakakaka... but its cute though...

So many to choose from... hhmmm.... nice...

So in the end we spend about RM150 for 4 sets... 2 sets of 3 piece and 2 sets of 7/8 piece.

Aren't they adorable!!!!! I think we are set for the first few months.... then i think we'll have to get more/ bigger clothing liao... depending on our bb's size lar.. ahahahaha.... :)

glad that we got some bb stuffs... now we are more prepared... getting the diapers later :P

Bangkok Shopping Mall Trip... Siam Paragon, Center & Discovery

Been to High Class shopping vomplex as well during my trip...

So share with you the 3 main high class( to me) place here in BK :)

All 3 are connected one... So after one mall u can go to the next one :)

Siam Paragon was very nice!!!! The food there are so pretty!!! Its really beutifull.. especially their cakes and cup cakes...

THis is Siam Center.. very small though... but the things are nice lar...

Creative hor... a wall that shows the brands... some of em...

I find this cute... aheeheehee... and you can check out thier website ler... (i haven't yet..)

Grand Watergate Hotel.

Have a look!!! One more thing that is pretty cool about this hotel is tt they provide this small card (as small as a name card) that shows a smaller map to the hotel should you take a taxi back to the hotel.. cool hor? Its very convenient!!

Their Restaurant... If you wanna have dinner here.. please go down earlier..

I was pretty up set when they told me that they dun have anything because they close at 8pm... Its only 755pm? and you can't serve one more customer?!!!

A pregnant and hungry woman is an angry woman!!! I was so up set tt i rather walk in the rain to find dinner.. but then i wasn't up set at anyone or anything like tt.. was just up set with the situation.. but after having Burger King.. all is well :D

Our Room!!! not bad hor?? I like it!!! Its not 'berry" big but its clean and neat... Just the way we like em..

at the end of the meal... a nice cup of tea smooth the whole breakfast experience with a dip of sweetness.. hmmm....

Btw.. you only need one pack of sweet for this coz their sugar is ssssooooo sweet!!!! Normally in M'sia I need 2 packs... my first cup i put two packs and it was an over kill of sweetness...

Like the environment of the cafe.. lots of mirror.. ahahah.. i'm not vain.. but it make the place looks more spacious and nice..
